I trained 4 years as a Chef before joining my Dad in cooking up new ideas to grow Oaks Flooring, progressing through various roles to Managing the day to day running of the Company.

With over 16 years experience

Passionate to keep Oaks Flooring at the top of our industry and ensure growth and continuity.

Ian

Founder

I started my small business in 1995, a big leap in a small shop in New Eltham.

I am extremely proud of everyone at Oaks Flooring.

That we have grown into the company we have today with 3x Branches and a fully stocked warehouse.

I have always believed that if you treat your staff well, then they will treat your customers well and we have the best.

Director

With over 15 Years experience I trained as a Carpet & flooring installer completing various courses with major manufacturers Amtico and Karndean giving me a full insight into all aspects of fitting.

I now have various roles in the business including Estimating / Fitting / the overseeing of fitting teams.

Amber

Sales - Admin

A member of the team for over 7 years Amber has a keen eye for Colour and Design, always happy to help with your current flooring projects & decisions.

Enjoys keeping the guys in check Amber is our resident Drama Queen.

Interests / Passions

Holidays / Shopping & Mother of 2 Full on Boys.

John

Manager @ Tunbridge Wells

After 19 Years working in the Flooring Trade, John joined Oaks Flooring 6 years ago bringing a wealth of knowledge and Experience.

Managing this showroom he is able to offer Excellent product knowledge and customer service.

Fun Fact – Would like to get a hole in one before he is 50.

Charlie

LVT & Carpet fitter

Charlie has been installing flooring for over 15 years and has been an important member of our team for the past 8 joining from another retailer.

He is our multi position footballer, he can fit Carpets / Vinyl / LVT flooring to an excellent standard having trained and completed various trade approved courses.

Walking to the Pub with Pablo (his dog) & Father to 2 young Daughters

Joe

Trainee Fitter

You will see Joe working with various members of our team as he is our Trainee and will be learning various fitting skills.

After completing his training and attending Courses Joe hopes to become a Full time installer.

Julian

Carpet Fitter

Our most experienced carpet fitter, fitting for over 30 years, many of our repeat customers will have had Julian install for them previously and requested him back next time.

With a quirky sense of humour and excellent fitting skills he is an essential member of the Oaks flooring team.

Steve

Floor Installer

Steve has worked for Oaks Flooring for a number of years and offers excellent fitting skills

Having trained and completed various trade approved courses.

Specialising in Herringbone LVT flooring he delivers and excellent finish with a fast & efficient work ethic.

Likes nothing more than Building Lego models with his Son Archie

Matt has worked at our Tunbridge Wells Showroom since 2014

He has a vast knowledge on all types of Carpets and Flooring including the latest trends and the best products available.

Wood Fitter

With over 15 years of floor laying experience, Josh is our own in house wood fitter and has installed in many different types of properties for our customers.

From small Flats & grand houses to The British Art Gallery, he is happy in any setting.

Installing Plank or Herringbone Real wood – Engineered floors or Laminate flooring.

Often found relaxing at a Lake somewhere catching prize winning Fish

Chris

Estimator / Salesman

Chris is the newest member of our expanding team and is a great addition having

A wealth of sales / planning experience after many years in the flooring trade.

Often seen dashing around in one of our estimating Vans Chris will visit your home or office to survey discuss and quote for any flooring requirements you may have.
